there are plenty of healthy, delicious, and braces-friendly foods to enjoy!
We’ve compiled a few delicious recipes from across the United States. While you’re at home

Fun recipes to try!
Northeast: American Chop Suey is a delicious meal with macaroni, ground beef, tomato sauce,
and plenty of flavor. It’s soft, braces friendly, and is sure to satisfy even the pickiest of eaters!
South: Shrimp Creole is a spicy dish with shrimp, tomatoes, onions, celery, and bell peppers. Eat
it over some brown rice for extra fiber!
West: Mission Burritos are always a crowd favorite! These burritos are loaded with a variety of
braces-friendly ingredients—meat, beans, pico de gallo, cheese, and sour cream. Add some
lettuce or guacamole for extra healthy goodness.
Midwest: Detroit-Style Pizza is a deep-dish pizza with tasty marinara sauce on top. There are a
number of different toppings you can add—from pepperoni to olives and everything in between.
If you are wearing braces, however, remember to skip the crust to avoid bending any wires or
breaking any brackets!
